Massachusetts law requires all off-road riders to purchase a registration sticker for their machines even if you ride on your own land.
Up until now they have not been enforcing this at events. This has changed.
The safest way to avoid problems is to spend the $33 dollars for a sticker. read below to see how. (NH residents do not have to pay a sales tax on their vehicles)
STEP1: Locate a copy of your bill of sale.
STEP2: Click here
STEP 3: Follow the instructions in the illustration below.
STEP4: click on Form ST-6E: Claim for Exemption from Sales or Use Tax on Boat, Recreation or Snow Vehicle as shown below.
Fill out the entire form online before printing it.
STEP 5: Download and fill out THIS FORM.
STEP 6: Bring a check for $33, the Bill of sale, Form St-6e, and the Registration and Titling Application to one of the following locations:
