Replacing damaged concrete blocks on Hang Glider and Sugar Hill Trails
Trail Master Andre Marois supervised volunteers Francis Moginot, Doug Bartlett, Wayne Heath, John Mesick, and Chris Connacher. New concrete blocks were transported by pickup truck as close to the worksites as possible, then transferred to two club ATVs to bring them to their final destination. Damaged blocks were dug up, removed and replaced with new. Missing blocks were replaced. Concrete blocks are used on steep hills to mitigate erosion.
